Missions
Under the responsibility of the Technical Director, the Heat Network Project Manager acts directly or indirectly on the energy transition and the energy performance of installations and buildings, particularly for the rapidly growing industrial sector.
The Heat Network Project Manager is responsible for managing projects related to district heating networks and renewable energies. They oversee the technical and financial monitoring of existing networks and contribute to the optimization of existing or new district heating networks.
They oversee opportunity and feasibility studies prior to the deployment of new district heating networks by creating master plans.
Furthermore, their role is to design or renovate installations producing or using various energies (steam, waste heat, etc.) within contractual deadlines, in accordance with the client’s objectives and industry best practices.
Profil
Ideally trained as an engineer or holding at least a bachelor’s degree (bac+3), you have a minimum of 4 years of experience within a structure specialized in HVAC and/or renewable energy studies, works, or operations.
You demonstrate a strong ability to manage a project, unite different stakeholders, and work as part of a team.
You demonstrate a synthetic mindset, organizational skills, and a strong ability to plan a project over time.
Ideally, you are proficient in the technical IT tools related to this position, mainly Office suite software (Word, Excel) and CAD software (AutoCAD). Entry-level profiles will not be considered.
Possible career progression
The Heat Network Project Manager position is designed to evolve into a Deputy Technical Director role and, in the medium term (2 years), into the Technical Director position. Indeed, the current Technical Director will retire in a few years.
