Mission context
As part of an international project in the Oil & Gas sector, we are looking for an SCM Package Engineer to manage complex technical procurements: steel pipes, welded assemblies, instrumentation, etc. Integrated into a multidisciplinary project team, you will cover the entire procurement cycle, from the bidding phase to final delivery. You will be involved in long lead-time packages, with a strong focus on technical coordination and supplier interface.
Missions
Preparation of calls for tenders
- Analysis of technical requisitions and project requirements,
- Preparation of RFQ packages in coordination with technical teams,
- Technical and commercial analysis of bids, leading TBE/CBE reviews,
- Preparation of decision-making materials.
Order management
- Organization of supplier meetings: KOM, pre-production, close-out,
- Progress monitoring and coordination of internal interfaces,
- Document tracking, inspection planning, non-conformity management,
- Supplier quality and HSE monitoring, order closure.
Operational monitoring
- Update of the Project Procurement Report (PPR),
- Schedule and budget monitoring in coordination with project control,
- Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager.
Profil
- Engineering degree (mechanical or materials),
- Minimum 10 years of experience in package management in the industry (Oil & Gas, EPC),
- Knowledge of industrial standards (quality, HSE, inspection),
- Ease in coordinating international suppliers,
- Fluent English required (all documentation in English)
- Valid category B driving license.
